Can one lose weight in their ankles?
It’s a question I’ve been asking myself since I was in junior high. I’ve always been self conscious around girls/women who have skinny legs with even skinnier ankles. I know it’s a sad situation when I can’t fully embrace the beauty of my ankles in all their thick and healthy glory. But vanity does that to people.
But… are they swollen? Did the ligaments in my ankles stretch out like the ones in my feet when I was pregnant?
Hopefully my current go round with Weight Watchers (I only have eight more pounds till I hit my goal!) will prove whether my ankles are/were carrying an extra layer of fat. I think I'll take a measurement of my ankles now (not really) then again when I meet my goal (not really) to see if there is any change (I’ll eye ball them in the mirror).
